Salads (simple salad, composed grains salad, baked goat cheese with warm honey dressing) that we made today, not only to learn about garde manger, but also about task lists and mise an place.
Task lists are the individual plans when working in group to define the tasks each individual are responsible for and at what time. Mise en place is the set up and preparation which brought together each of these salad. It is only the third day in, and I know I’m still finding my rhythm with my partner this week so that we are not lagging behind the rest of the class. Communication is key, and same with jotting down the exact notes in each of our individual task list to make sure we don’t leave anything out.
